At Badger & Spiller Orthodontics, we are taking steps to become a more environmentally friendly office.

We first started by replacing our existing light bulbs with energy efficient ones and equipped each office with eco-friendly thermostats that monitor the temperature and maintain a more efficient state when the office is not open.

We use digital imaging for our X-rays, which eliminates the need for hazardous chemicals used in developing the X-ray films. In place of throwing out our old ink cartridges for our printers, we refill them for multiple uses.

One of our biggest projects is to take steps to become a paperless office. We scan documents into our
patient’s charts on the computer, process our insurance claims electronically, almost eliminating the
need for paper forms and we prefer to communicate with our patients and referring doctors via email,
all in an effort to cut back on the amount of paper we use.
